A delicious, simple and healthy gluten-free waffle base made with some simple ingredients using Lekue Waffle Mould.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium eggs
  • 300 ml of milk
  • 180 ml of cooking cream (18% fat)
  • ¾ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 175 g of maize starch (cornstarch)
  • 175 g of corn flour (or millet, or buckwheat)

  1. Mix the eggs with the milk, cream and salt.
  2. Place in a bowl the cornstarch, gluten-free flour and baking powder, and add the liquid slowly, stirring with a whisk until obtaining a homogeneous mass.
  3. Place the moulds on the baking tray, pour the mixture into the 2 waffle moulds and bake in the middle of a preheated oven at 220 ° C for 15 minutes.
  4. Sweet waffles Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to the prepared dough before pouring it into moulds.
