Payment Failure Resolution Policy

At BakeryKart, we strive to ensure a seamless and secure online shopping experience for our customers. In the event of a payment failure or if you have made a successful payment but have not received an order confirmation, please follow the steps outlined below for a prompt resolution:

Successful Payment without Order Confirmation:

If you have successfully made a payment but did not receive an order confirmation and were not redirected back to our website, please send an email to hello@bakerykart.com with the following details:

  • Date & Time of Transaction
  • Order Value
  • Screenshot of Payment Confirmation

Payment Deducted but Reflected as Failed:

If the payment has been deducted from your bank account or credit card but is reflected as failed on our payment gateway, please email us at hello@bakerykart.com with the following information:

  • Screenshot of your bank statement showing the deduction
  • Transaction date and time
  • Transaction details

Please note that confirmation received from the Payment Gateway will be considered final in resolving such cases.

Refrain from Making Additional Payments:

In the event of a payment failure, we advise you to refrain from making additional payments until the issue is resolved. If multiple successful payments are made for the same order, cancellation charges of 5% will be levied.

Response Time:

After emailing us with the necessary details, kindly allow 48 to 72 hours (3 to 4 working days) for our team to investigate and respond to your query. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue and ensure a satisfactory resolution.

No Return Disclaimer: Couverture, compound chocolate and related chocolate products will melt and leak in transit. By purchasing these product you agree that return will not be accepted for these products.

 

General Condition

An item may be considered for return within the stipulated return window if it meets one or more of the following criteria:

  • Delivered in a physically damaged condition
  • Missing essential parts or accessories
  • Varied from the item ordered

Customers are required to inform the Bakerykart team of any such issues within 6 hours post-delivery, accompanied by an unboxing video.

Non-Returnable Categories

Products falling under the "non-returnable" category are excluded from the return policy. Please consult the provided list for specific details. This includes all edible categories, such as chocolate and its subcategories like couverture, compound, cocoa, as well as ingredients and their subcategories like baking essentials, frozen fruit & puree, mixer and powder, food coloring, extracts, and flavorings, among others.

Return Conditions

All returned items must adhere to the following conditions:

  • Original condition, with price tags intact
  • Inclusion of user manual, warranty cards, and original accessories
  • Returned in the original manufacturer’s box/packaging as initially delivered
  • Items should not be opened or used.

Replacement Policy

The availability of replacements is contingent on the seller"s decision. If replacements are not possible due to stock unavailability, customers will be issued a refund.

Non-Receipt Claims

If a customer has received an SMS/email confirmation indicating successful order delivery or has verified the delivery status through the tracking system of the delivery partner but has not physically received the order, it is imperative to register a complaint within 24 hours of such an incident. Customers can do so by sending an email to hello@bakerykart.com. Claims submitted after 24 hours of delivery will not be accepted,

Claim Procedure

For specific claims such as transit damages or missing items, customers are required to submit a mandatory order unboxing video within 6 hours post-delivery, clearly highlighting the product-related issue. For other types of claims, such as non-receipt or delayed orders, please refer to the respective order policy for guidance.

Post-Delivery Refund

Refunds post-delivery are initiated in the event of a missing item or a shortfall in the supply. The details of the refund process are contingent upon the respective seller fulfilling the order. To register a claim for post-delivery refunds, please follow the procedures outlined in the Claim Procedure section.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for verifying the accuracy of their name, address, state, pin code, email, and phone details before confirming an order. Bakerykart disclaims any liability for errors in the communication details provided by the customer. In the event of order cancellation resulting from such incidents, it will be processed in accordance with our order cancellation policy.

Non-Refundable Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are non-refundable in cases where the customer has placed an order by mistake, no longer requires the product, or has not reviewed the product specifications and details mentioned on the website. This includes, but is not limited to, product shelf life, expiry date (if applicable), dimensions, size, color, etc.

The policy is subject to change, and any modifications will be communicated to customers by updating the policy on this page. We strongly advise all our customers to review the policy before placing an order with us.

 

Return Acceptance Policy

We understand that there may arise situations where returning a product becomes necessary. To ensure fair support for both customers and our sellers, we accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Incorrect Order: If the received order differs from what you placed, you are eligible to initiate a return.
  • Wrong Product Received: Products that do not match the ordered items are eligible for return.
  • Discrepancy with Website Information: Items that deviate from the information displayed on our website can be returned.
  • Damaged Shipment or Tampered Packaging: In the case of a damaged shipment or packaging that seems tampered with, customers are required to capture and share pictures and video within the specified time frame as mentioned in claim procedure, along with the complete order ID.
  • Verification Process: To expedite the resolution of any order-related issues, we kindly ask customers to provide an unboxing video for damage or shortage verification. Photo proof for shortages will not be accepted.

Return Process

To initiate the return process, customers are required to follow the instructions below.

  • Initiation: Notify the Bakerykart team of the intent to return within 6 hours post-delivery by writing to us at hello@bakerykart.com.
  • Seller Review: Upon receiving the return request, the seller will carefully review the case. If necessary, the seller may communicate with the customer and subsequently make a decision to either accept or reject the return request.
  • Return Approval: If the return is approved, the official return process will be initiated promptly. A pickup request will be generated to facilitate the return.
  • Verification at Seller"s Warehouse: On receiving the returned product at the seller"s warehouse, a meticulous verification process will be undertaken. The seller will either approve or reject the return based on the outcome of the verification.
 

Return Rejection Policy

The return request will be rejected under the following circumstances:

  • Opened Original Packaging: If the original packaging of the product has been opened.
  • Product Opened: If the product itself has been opened.
  • Damage to Packaging During Customer Handling: If the product packaging has been damaged by the customer while opening the master box using a knife or sharp object.
  • Used Product: If the product shows signs of use.
  • Damage Due to Poor Customer Handling: If the product is damaged due to poor handling by the customer.
  • Replacement with Another Product: If the returned product is different from the originally purchased product.
  • Return Due to Size Issue: If the return is initiated due to size issues where the customer did not refer to size and dimensions before ordering.

Refund Policy

Upon acceptance of the return, the refund will be processed within 5 to 10 working days. For refunds exceeding Rs 15,000, processing may take up to 10 to 15 days. The refund will be directly credited to the customer"s original payment method.

In instances where the refund cannot be facilitated through the original payment method, customers are required to provide their bank details, including account number, bank name, IFSC Code, and a copy of a canceled cheque. This information is essential to ensure a seamless refund process.

Order Cancellation

Thank you for choosing BakeryKart for your baking needs. We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel an order. Please take a moment to review our Order Cancellation Policy to ensure a smooth process.

  • Customer"s Right to Cancel:
    • Customers can cancel an order within 6 hours of placing it.
    • To initiate the cancellation, please send an email to hello@bakerykart.com with your order ID.
  • Cancellation Timeframe:
    • Orders cannot be canceled once they have been shipped.
    • Orders can be canceled if delayed beyond 45 days from the date of purchase, unless the area is affected by Force Majeure events.
  • Cancellation Charges:
    • A cancellation charge of 15% + Applicable GST will be levied against all orders canceled by users within the specified time frame.
    • After the order is processed/shipped, a cancellation charge of 30% + Applicable GST will be applied.
    • In addition to the cancellation charges, customers will be responsible for both forward and return shipping costs to the seller for replacement/cancellation/return.
  • Seller’s Right to Cancel:
    • Sellers reserve the right to cancel an order due to non-availability of stock or any other unforeseen reason.
  • Force Majeure Events:
    • BakeryKart and Sellers may cancel orders in the event of natural calamities, strikes, or unforeseen conditions that prevent the fulfillment of the order.
  • Conduct Policy:
    • Any misbehaving with our team/delivery professionals will not be tolerated. It may lead to the suspension of your account and order cancellation (after deducting 15% cancellation charges).

  • Offers are open for residents of India only.
  • Offers are not transferable.
  • Employees of Seller / Bakerykart and its affiliates / subsidiaries, associated agencies, participating operators and their immediate family members and relatives are not eligible for the offers.

  • The promotions are governed by the laws of India and any disputes arising out these are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi only.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Cost

  • Min order for FREE shipping might be applicable seller to seller store.
  • Most of the product has free shipping, but some product might have additional shipping cost and would not be eligible for min order condition.

Shipping

  • Same Day Delivery - Order sold / fullyfilled by 72interactive can be delivered to Delhi NCR customers same/next day through WeFast / Uber Delivery. In such cases shipping charges need to be paid extra by customer as per actuals or the amount exceeding the min shipping cost.
  • Seller can either ship using their own logistic service provider or using Bakerykart’s 3rd Party logistic service provider.
  • In case of self-ship the tentative shipment duration is 10 to 15 working days.
  • In case the seller is using Bakerykart’s logistic services the shipment duration is between 7 to 10 working days.
  • If you are ordering chocolate or ingredients don’t order during long holiday or weekend.
  • Long holiday might delay the order beyond 10 to 15 days.
  • Shipment might get delayed due to any natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances 
  • Bakerykart or its sellers do not take any responsibility of delivery made to customer"s friends or relatives or 3rd party addresses.
  • Bakerykart do not take responsibilities of delay in delivery due to 3rd party logistic service provider or its sellers.
  • Chocolate Shipping - chocolate products such as chocolate decoration, couverture, compound etc. might melt and leak in transit.
  • Shipping Economical Range of Chocolate - Economical range of chocolate products such as 2M Cocoa & Vanhouten etc can melt and leak in transit.
  • Order can be delayed due to incorrect address submitted by customer, we will not be responsible for delay of such order and such orders cannnot be cancelled or refunded.
  • If the customer refuse to accept an order and later wish to get it delivered again, the customer will have to pay DTO (Deliver to Origin) charge along with delivery charges for 2nd delivery with min Rs 300 or actual whichever is higher.
  • In case of any return or damages, Shipping Charges are not refundable
 

Return Shipping & Documentation

Return Shipping

  • Return Shipping is only available if the seller uses Bakerykart’s logistic network
  • Return Shipping is available based on return pickup availability on your pincode

Self Return

If the Return Pick-up option is not available in your area or if you choose to return the item yourself, select Self-Return to Seller’s Return Centre. Include the required return documentation with your package. You can return the package using any courier/ postal service of your choice, the shipping cost had to be paid by customer.

Return Packaging

It is customer’s responsibility to either pack the product in original shipped packaging or use a steady packaging for shipping to ensure the product is not damaged during transit.

Return Order Documentation - Return Pick-up

  • A copy of invoice highlighting the items being returned (hand over to the courier representative)
  • Declaration of item details, value and return reason (hand over to the courier representative)
  • A return label with Bakerykart tracking barcode (paste on the package)

Return Order Documentation - Self Return

  • A copy of invoice highlighting the items being returned (include inside the package, if available)
  • Declaration of item details, value and return reason (paste on the package)
  • A return label tracking barcode (paste on the package)

Note: If you do not have a printer, you can also hand-write the declaration and return address (Return Address Confirmed by our Support Team over the email) and use the original invoice (if available) or a copy, highlighting the items being returned.

  • Prices mentioned on our website are inclusive of all taxes
  • Customer"s can expect a shelf life of 50% to 75% for Chocolate & ingredients sold on Bakerykart.
  • In some cases the seller might mention shelf life on product detail page, please refer to it before placing the order.
  • In case you have received an expired product, report it to Bakerykart team at hello@bakerykart.com within 6hrs of delivery with the pictures of product and area highlighting the batch no & manufacturing date.
 

Warranty Terms

Please find below the standard warranty terms.

Warranty

  • Please refer to warranty status before placing the order.
  • Warranty is covered as per the original product warranty either being offered by Brand or Seller.
  • Bakerykart doesn’t take any responsibilities of warranty.
  • Warranty covers only manufacturing defect
  • A valid warranty card and invoice are essential for protecting your warranty rights
  • Your warranty is only valid under normal use of your product. All man-made damages and any of the following conditions are out of free warranty.
  • Duration of Warranty depends on brands and products you are buying, please refer to warranty information mentioned against each product.
  • Bakerykart shall not be liable for any loss or damages, including consequential, indirect and incidental damages, arising out of the use of or inability to use the product or for breach of any express or implied warranty or condition on the product

What does warranty don’t cover

  • Chocolate, Ingredients & Packaging Categories don’t carry any warranty.
  • External damages (including wear, tear, and scratches) are not entitled to the warranty.
  • Any problem that is caused by abuse, misuse is not covered. Scratches, stains, pitting, discoloration, deterioration, warping or damage from overheating are not covered by warranty
  • This warranty is for the original consumer purchaser only. It is not transferable and proof of purchase must be verified.
 

Temperature Control Packaging

We ship Callebaut (500 grms pack) & VHP in Temperature Control Packaging between April to Aug. Please find below general terms & condition : 

  • All orders are shipped through priority shipping for primary to Metro & Teir 1 Cities where delivery are possible within 2 to 3 days.
  • Order Placement Guide - Callebaut Min 2 Packs of 500 grms (Not valid on Bulk Pack like 10kgs etc)
  • In some cases the product might melt even after using temperature control packaging due to delay in delivery by the logistic partner, Bakerykart don"t take responsibilities of such delay, leakage or melting issue.
  • Single Units of orders for Callebaut (500 grms) will not be shipped using the temperature control packaging.
