Our endlessly popular Gluten Free Brownie Mix was reformulated and repackaged in 2015 to bring you even moister, richer, brownies with an improved taste and texture! Just follow three simple steps on the back of the package and you'll have warm and delicious gluten free brownies in only about 30 minutes! All you need from your kitchen is 3 eggs and 1/2 cup butter. These brownies are stellar on their own, but we like to encourage creativity, so make them your own by adding your favorite mix-ins. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Nuts: walnuts, pecans, or almonds
Baking chips: chocolate, peanut butter, white chocolate, mint, or butterscotch
Nut butters: peanut, almond, or cashew ; drizzle nut butter over brownie batter in the pan; use a knife to swirls
Dried fruits: cherries, raspberries, currants, coconut flakes
Spices and flavors: Cinnamon, orange extract, instant coffee powder, cayenne pepper powder

Happy baking!

Here’s a rundown on where to store whole grains. We hope it will give you some insight and inspiration for your own kitchen and maybe frees up a little room in your freezer. Here is a quick breakdown of where to store products.

  • Whole Grains (wheat berries, brown rice, quinoa, millet, etc) used once a month: room temp
  • Whole Grains used less than once a month: freezer
  • Dried Beans: room temp
  • Flour, Cereals, Cracked Grains used once a week: room temp
  • Flour, Cereals, Cracked Grains used less than once a month: fridge or freezer
  • Baking Mixes: room temp or fridge, do not freeze
  • Refined Grains, Flours and Cereals (white flour, white rice, etc): room temp
  • Items that should always be kept in the fridge or freezer:
    • Almond Meal
    • Hazelnut Meal
    • Coconut Flour
    • Wheat Germ
    • Rice Bran
    • Flaxseed Meal (whole seeds are fine at room temp)
    • Hemp Seeds
    • Active Dry Yeast (do not freeze)

We recommend airtight containers for everything, but at the very least use airtight containers for things left at room temperature. Bugs love whole grains and nothing keeps a bug out quite like a mason jar. You can make your own labels or cut out labels from our bag and adhere them to your jars.
